Jean's Art Studio
I have been painting in oils and watercolor for over 20 years. Since I live in my Motorhome for now and have stored most of my paintings or given them away, I decided to show some of my work here. Note: some of the prints are slightly distorted.
About Me
- Name: Breakin' Wind
- Location: Wherever We Park It , Everywhere, United States
UPDATE 2015: SEE MY NEW BLOG AT http://cantafordaranch.blogspot.com/ 2005-2013 It's hard to believe we just celebrated our 51th Wedding Anniversary.(2009) Willard retired in 2001 and Jean in 2002. We started our fulltiming lifestyle in June 2005, after practicing for about four years. Our trips just seemed to become longer and longer through the years. So we sold the house, gave away our stuff, and now we "break wind" in our 40'Alfa See Ya, as we travel our highways and country roads. Life doesn't get much better than this! When we're parked, we get out our guitars and play our music to entertain ourselves as well as others.

Old Stanton Hotel (oil painting by Jean E. Bass
This hotel still stands in the Arizona ghost town, Stanton, AZ
The town is now privately owned (but welcomes visitors) by LDMA and is surrounded by a private RV park. The old hotel is now used as a library, pool room, game room, kitchen, TV room and several storage rooms.
The Old Place
The Old Place (oil painting by Jean E. Bass)
Note: This is the house my Grandpa Madara built near Alvin, Texas. My mother was born there, I was born there, and we lived there when our second son was born. The home burned years ago. Now all we have is our memories and pictures, and of course, this painting.
